Frequently asked questions

Questions about CurbNudge, answered clearly.

CurbNudge is a focused reminder platform for communities and property-management teams.

Do residents need an account or app?

No. Residents opt in with their phone number through a community join page, QR code, invitation, or registered SMS keyword.

How do residents stop messages?

A resident can reply STOP. CurbNudge immediately marks the number opted out and suppresses future recurring and custom sends.

Can CurbNudge handle holiday collection changes?

Yes. Managers can shift, delay, cancel, or replace a scheduled pickup date and preview the resulting reminder.

Does CurbNudge haul trash or recycling?

No. CurbNudge sends reminders based on schedules entered by authorized customers. It is not a hauler, municipality, or government agency.

What happens when a number is imported?

An imported number is not treated as subscribed without documented consent. Numbers without adequate consent remain invited or pending until confirmation.

Are message and data rates possible?

Yes. Message and data rates may apply based on the resident's mobile plan. Message frequency varies by the services and notices selected by the community.

Can one account manage multiple communities?

Yes. Growth, Portfolio, and Enterprise plans support multiple communities with separate schedules, recipients, and reporting.

Is CurbNudge an emergency-alert system?

No. CurbNudge is for routine collection and limited service reminders. Customers should use a dedicated emergency-notification platform for urgent life-safety communication.
